A few recent cakes . . .

Quite a few of my recent cakes have been re-creations of ones I have done previously. However, I have done a few new ones including two special anniversaries, one of which was royal iced which makes a nice change (It's been quite a few years since I have been asked to coat a cake in ropyal icing!). You can't beat the crisp bright white finish that you get with royal icing!!!The flowers were individually hand made - peach roses, cream carnations and lilac filler flowers. The picture was an edible image in a pastillage frame.

I received a nice email from Sheila thanking me for the cake, saying how lovely it was and how it tasted devine. I am so pleased Jack and Sheila were pleased with their cake and wish them both many congratulations.
